Bolasoft Sport

Introduction

Bolasoft is a startup engaged in sports match management. The goal of this application is to help make it easier to control matches during tournaments while at the same time gathering statistics from both the competition side and the athlete’s development side.

The scope of this project is to revamp all applications owned by Bolasoft with a better UI UX approach, add and update several features, add mobile apps, and migrate to Cloud Azure so that applications have better performance.

The challenge of this project was more to understand the business process of a sports tournament which turned out to be quite complex, than to re-read the code that their team had made before.

The sports tournament process involves various aspects such as participant registration, match scheduling, team management, scoring, statistics, and result reporting. Team Bolasoft needs to invest time in the planning and research phase to deeply understand how sports tournaments are typically organized and run. This process involves interactions with relevant stakeholders, such as tournament organizers, referees, participants, and spectators, to ensure that the developed system meets their needs and expectations.

Facing these challenges, Team Bolasoft must collaborate effectively and adopt a systematic and organized approach to tackle the project. It is crucial for them to identify the right resources and schedule and maintain effective communication to ensure a smooth project execution and successful completion of all stages.
